Vacancy:  Adjudicators

Job Summary:

The Trinidad and Tobago Carnival Bands Association (TTCBA) is inviting qualified and interested individuals to serve as adjudicators for TTCBA-officiated Carnival events. This initiative supports the organization’s mandate to modernize, strengthen, and standardize the adjudication process by expanding its pool of judges and ensuring transparency, consistency, and excellence across competitions.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

Applicants should demonstrate relevant experience and/or qualifications, including but not limited to:

• Knowledge and involvement in Carnival arts and culture (Mas, Pan, Calypso, Creative Industries)
• Experience in performance, design, production, or event management
• Prior adjudication or evaluation experience
• Academic or professional qualifications relevant to the field

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in TTCBA-administered adjudication workshops and training sessions if shortlisted
• Apply standardized evaluation criteria and scoring systems
• Uphold ethics, transparency, and consistency in judging processes
• Follow established operational procedures for adjudication
• Contribute to maintaining excellence across Carnival competitions
